I’m Sapna Richter, a Berlin-based photographer adopted from India. This experience deeply shaped my perspective and creative expression. As a feminist at heart, I am driven by the desire to capture people in their most authentic form.
I work with organisations, NGOs, companies, cultural initiatives and individuals who want to tell meaningful stories through imagery. My work includes event coverage, documentary photography and portraits for teams, founders, creatives and community-driven projects.
Whether I am documenting a conference, creating portraits, or following a long-term project, I am interested in the people behind the work, the atmosphere of a place, and the stories that unfold in between.
I like to keep things simple yet intentional, working mainly with natural light and minimal equipment so that real stories and personalities can unfold naturally. For me, photography is more than creating images. It is a way to connect with like-minded people, support the voices of activists and create space for narratives that challenge, inspire, and spark change.
